Hmmm – probably won't work so well with my ipod touch's cracked screen.  I should try it and see.

  2. Bily Foster says:

Yeah might be hard to scan depending on where the cracks are

  3. Tim Bond says:

Most damage is on the left side of the screen but the cracks are getting bigger/longer as time goes on. The plan is to get iPhone 4s when my current phone contract is up next month, so I will likely stop carrying the touch anyway.

  4. Bily Foster says:

you aren't going to go for the iPhone 5?

  5. Tim Bond says:

Dunno. We will look at pricing differences, but with having had ipod touch for years, we've got things like docks and charging cables that will fit the iPhone 4s. I might still go with a nexus phone – all I know is we're going to get smart phones.  Toby wants an iPhone and I feel like I'd be fine with that or a nexus.

Well I LOVE my iPhone 4S, if I were getting a new phone I would figure out a way to get a iP5 but with us still only 1 year into our 2 year contract I just can't justify it.  I'm holding out for iP5S.  While I like Android, I just can't bring myself to rely on it just yet 😛 but i could see a day where that might change 😀

I dig what you mean on the dock connector though, the more I'm learning about lightning the less i'm liking, there better come up with a Thunderbolt to Lightning cable quick 😛
