    Oh my, I felt so uncomfortable watching that. I think that for a lot of issues I can see both sides … economic spending vs. tax cuts, big govt vs. small govt, gun rights vs gun control. I can even see the side of the pro-lifers (even though I am vehemently pro-choice). However, I really have a hard time understanding two current trains of thought – that marriage is between a man and a woman and the whole war on drugs thing. I mean, really, why is it such a big deal?

    The same people who object to this are the people who want the US run more like a corporation. Well, every corporation that I ever worked for had partner benefits. Some included non-married heterosexual couples but mostly the benefit was there for same sex couples who could not legally get married. Want America to be run like a company, then I guess you better understand that corporations are the leaders in inclusion.
