Okay just got word from Google on starting the process to replace my #nexus7 #returns

What did I miss? Is yours defective? Or you just don't want it anymore?
Ugh. Can't edit on mobile, but I obviously did not read well – so it has to be replaced? What's the defect? Someone else on here just got his 16gb Monday morning and it wouldn't turn on at all. He ordered as soon as preorders opened, so he's not happy to say the least.
I wish the ipod version of g+ allowed comment editing/deletion.And I wish I would remember not to imagine I'm really coherent if I happen to be awake at 3am to write emails or comments.
Anyway – I just read your "aftermath" review that includes the discussion of the cruddy sound (that you had mentioned in another post). One guy on here actually couldn't even turn his 16GB nexus on at all when he finally got it Monday morning (and he ordered his back when the pre-orders started!). It would be interesting to know how many defective units were shipped – and how many aren't returned. I'm used to sound from device speakers not being all that great, so I might not have paid much attention to the problem you had, for instance.
